Seattle neighborhood project

One of the great things about Seattle is the burrough-like feel of the city. Many of its neighborhoods are little microcosms of the city, and one could spend most of their time in one’s own neighborhood. Groceries, entertainment, schools, parks, they are all there. The flip side of this is that it is easy to forget that there is a larger, more dynamic city out there. I tend to be a creature of habit, and even my venue choices can become a bit static. So, to fix this problem, I have decided to make an event in every one of Seattle’s neighborhoods. It could be a concert, workshop, festival, and who knows what else. I will also try and get to know the neighborhood on a more intimate level in the process, finding out its history, what makes it tick, etc…
